Toward the conclusion of the regular season, the boys' soccer program honored its three seniors—Ben Chen, Morton Ge and Billy Sosa—for all the contributions they have made to the team and our school both on and off the pitch.
Our Bearcats rose to the occasion, posting a 5-0 triumph over The New Community School. The victory improved the team's record to 7-3-1. Banner Christian is tied for 11th in the Virginia Independent Schools' Athletic Association Division III boys' soccer poll. The team has won six of its last seven matches, with the only exception being a tie against The Carmel School on Oct. 13; the Bearcats have not lost a match since Sept. 28.
The seniors have poured their heart, soul and sense of sportsmanship in continuing to facilitate the growth of the program.
Thank you, seniors!
