The Servant Leaders of the Month Awards recognize students who demonstrate outstanding leadership by setting a positive example, serving others and showing responsibility. The honorees for March are also being celebrated for their work on a proposed new event that would bring community and benefits to Banner Christian.
Patrick Pega: Servant Leader of the Month

Eighth-grader Patrick Pega is being recognized as our Servant Leader of the Month for his willingness to step out in faith and lead others in worship.
As a member of the Middle School Praise Team, Patrick has shown courage and humility by getting up in front of the entire school to lead Praise & Worship—something that takes both boldness and a heart for serving others.
His desire to use his gifts to glorify God and guide his peers in worship is a powerful example of servant leadership. Patrick’s faith, initiative and willingness to lead, even at a young age, are an encouragement to our entire Banner Christian community.
Servant Leader of the Month: Alexander Dancey

Sophomore Alexander Dancey is being honored as our Servant Leader of the Month for his faithful leadership and heart for service.
As a member of the Upper School Praise Team, Alexander consistently steps forward to lead our school in Praise & Worship with confidence and humility, helping to create an atmosphere that points others to Christ.
In addition, his involvement on the Forge Team reflects a commitment to serving the Banner community and investing in others. Xander’s willingness to lead, serve and use his gifts for God’s glory is a meaningful example of servant leadership to students across all grade levels.
Austin Voros: Athlete of the Month

Sophomore Austin Voros is garnering accolades because he has quickly made an impressive impact on the golf team despite having no prior experience.
His dedication to learning the game and willingness to work have led to tremendous growth in a short period of time. With consistent efforts and a positive attitude, he has lowered his score in every match, making him a well-deserving Athlete of the Month.
Emma Bentajado: Athlete of the Month

Junior Emma Bentajado is being lauded because she has been a strong leader on the golf team, bringing valuable experience while continuing to push herself to improve each day.
Her commitment to growth, consistency and work ethic have been evident throughout the season and she delivered a strong performance in the Bearcats' most recent match.
