Banner Christian Upper School students toured the Virginia Holocaust Museum during the spring semester.

After studying World War II during the spring semester, Banner Christian's ninth-grade Modern History class visited the Virginia Holocaust Museum.

The Virginia Holocaust Museum preserves the history of the Holocaust and honors its victims, survivors and upstanders through innovative exhibits, educational programming and community outreach.

Students also visited the Dimensions in Testimony exhibition where they interacted, asked questions and heard stories from a Holocaust survivor. They heard about topics like life before the war, hiding, experiences in concentration camps as well as life after the war, forgiveness, family and more.
