Recently, Bible 12 students brought Scripture to life through an Old Testament Living Wax Museum project. Each student selected a biblical figure and carefully studied that individual’s life using the Bible as their primary source.
Students researched the historical context, strengths and weaknesses, defining moments and—most importantly—how their character fits into God’s redemptive plan and points to Christ. They then wrote and fully memorized a first-person monologue and transformed into “living exhibits,” dressed in costume and presented confidently without notes as visitors “activated” them.
In addition to their presentations, students created detailed trifold displays highlighting key Scripture passages, major life events and theological themes. This project beautifully combined biblical scholarship, creativity, memorization and public speaking. We are proud of the depth of understanding our students demonstrated and grateful for the opportunity to see God’s Word come alive in their hearts and minds.
Other Bible classes from all grade levels attended the event and enjoyed learning more about each character.
