          A Message from our Administrator

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your interest in and support of Banner Christian School. Your generosity will help Banner become a model for Christian education, not only in our community, but across the Commonwealth!

Banner Christian School is a non-profit IRS 501(c)3 organization, and therefore, all donations to Banner are tax-deductible. Below, I have listed several potential ways to give.  A tax-deductible receipt will be sent to you by mail. If you would like to mail a donation, it can be sent to P.O. Box 74010, Richmond, VA 23236. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

In His Service,

Thomas W. Burkett
Administrator

Planned Giving: Planned Giving or Deferred Giving are giving opportunities that provide tax savings. Below are some other ways you can give to support the ministry of Banner Christian School.

Annuities: A gift annuity supports you and it supports us. It is a practical plan that supports your living needs by providing you with a regular return on your gift to the ministries of Banner Christian School.

Trusts: A trust is similar to an annuity in that it provides you with a regular return on your gift to the ministries of Banner Christian School. There are multiple variations of trusts, and one of our professional staff will be happy to meet with you to help you understand your options. A trust can be established at BCS with a minimum gift of $50,000.

Wills: Your will is a legal document that allows you to dictate the distribution of your assets upon your death. We provide extensive help in the establishment of your will by employing a confidential Will and Trust Planning Guide. This remarkable tool is free for the asking.

Appreciated assets/stocks: The donation of appreciated assets provides an opportunity for the donor to avoid capital gains tax, to make a significant gift to this ministry, and to take a charitable deduction. Appreciated assets can be used to fund both annuities and trusts.

Life Insurance: You can purchase a life insurance policy in which you name Banner Christian School as the owner of the policy. Premiums on the policy are tax deductible.
