Information Regarding the Virginia Marriage Amendment: Visiting the web site http://www.va4marriage.org will provide you with information regarding the marriage amendment on which Virginians will vote in November.
Information Regarding The Da Vinci Code: “ The Da Vinci Code challenges Jesus' identity and deeds, the content of the Bible, the origin of the church, the motives of early Christian leaders and the relevance of the church today—but it does so without any historical, logical or theological credibility” (Focus on the Family). Dr. Erwin Lutzer, the author of The Da Vinci Deception, says: “The movie will confuse lots of people, but Jesus will become the centerpiece of many conversations. For those who are prepared to explain that Christianity rests on solid foundations, the opportunity will be tremendous.” Focus on the Family has an informative web site regarding the book and the movie: http://go.family.org/davinci/. Parents, an excellent article on the book written by Christian psychologist, Dr. Stephen Farra of Columbia International University, can be found at this site: http://www.ciu.edu/seminary/resources/articles/evangelism/DVCode_Wicca-complete.pdf.

Other web sites:
One Million Youth: Young people, ages 13 to 21, can sign up with http://www.onemillionyouth.com/ (OMY). Though similar to the next two web sites, OMY is strictly an on line campaign focusing primarily on the entertainment media (television, music, movies, etc.). The goal of this campaign is to stop the exploitation of young people by such media.
One Million Moms or Dads: You can make a difference by signing up with either http://www.onemillionmoms.com/ or http://www.onemilliondads.com/. It is free to join and does not require a large investment of time. After you've signed up on line, you'll receive an e-mail once a week with information about a particular target (TV network, sponsor, or station) giving you a link to a "take action" page on the web site. Then, by using the web site's form and following the simple instructions on the page, you email the responsible party voicing your concern. You can also see a partial list of their “victories” on their web site.
