Andy Johansen
Andy Johansen is the man behind the numbers and the Director of Finance at Banner Christian School. As a dedicated parent to his daughter, Emma, who is proudly enrolled at Banner, Andy understands firsthand the significance of our institution.
In January 2023, Andy returned to the Business Office, bringing with him a wealth of experience in financial management. This role is not new to him, as he previously oversaw Banner Christian's finances from 2004 to 2006. Following his retirement from the Henrico County Division of Fire, the leisurely pastimes of golf and fishing that he once envisioned have been traded for the world of payrolls and bill payments.
But that doesn't mean he's left his passions behind entirely. Andy still manages to sneak out and enjoy a quick 9-hole round of golf with his daughter, Emma, when Dr. Burkett isn't looking. It's these moments that add a touch of adventure to his financial responsibilities.
With Andy Johansen at the financial helm, Banner Christian School continues to navigate the seas of fiscal responsibility, ensuring the school's financial health for a bright future.
